Well meaning friends, volunteers or weekend warriors come at the right price but often lack sufficient skills, may not show up and are not obligated to stay. Hiring a regional or local ambulance is providing you with the proper skill level; however, they come at high cost.

Furthermore, they are first and foremost an "Emergency Ambulance". At anytime they may be called away, to answer an emergency elsewhere, and usually NO back-up or stand-by is permitted for private functions. Also, you still must pay for something you no longer have, EMERGENCY COVERAGE. Some insurance companies WILL NOT cover liability, if the event DOES NOT stop until your legitimate medical coverage returns or replaced.

Medstat never leaves you waiting. We are a private Emergency Medical Service, NOT  an Ambulance. All our Emergency Medical Staff are certified or licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario. They are specialized in trauma and sports injuries, with the skills to deal with any emergency situation.

Our procedure is to allocate all our efforts to stabilize an injured or ill patient, while through cellular technology summon a local road ambulance for rapid transport. Medstat will rendezvous with our allied professionals, at a prearranged site and transfer the patient into their care. This optimizes critical time for the patient, reduces down time, and saves you add expense; because we are always on site and closely available. To date this plan has worked flawlessly.
