Patients Need Medstat E.M.S

|
In mid 1991, Medstat, began charting new frontiers to meet the needs of communities and in many areas, leading the way in alternate patient transport for stable, non-critical patients. Patients who need to be moved between health facilities; repatriate from unexpected vacation mishap; or simply to and from home; to have tests or be with family. Anyone who requires a stretcher style vehicle or trained medical personnel to monitor them.
Our initiative is to develop affordable alternatives to medical transportation, throughout the province. Furthermore, the Ministry of Health is now working with members of the Medical Transportation industry to established guidelines for providers and ambulance use in harmony with alternate conveyance. Consultant firms advising many Upper Tiered regions have also recognized the value and cost effectiveness of such a union.
Medstat saw this coming years before it became a reality, and will continue to be part of the changing needs of tomorrow.
Medstat has established a solid reputation for on time patient transfer with a number of major hospitals in Ontario. Medstat has served dozens of Hospitals, Long Term Care facilities, and individuals. All use Medstat because of our reliability, dependability, friendly professional crews and cost efficient service. They see the great value of our bed-to-bed care and cost savings by freeing nursing staff for other vital duties.
Medstat also joined many of it's association members and Toronto E.M.S. during the 2003 S.A.R.S. pandemic at the bequest of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
Today, as a founding member of the Medical Transportation Association of Ontario, (a voice for the industry and advocate for set provider standards), we continue to be called upon to act as a consultants due to our expertise, professionalism and depth of industry knowledge.
We have come a long one since being one of the first to invent this concept as early as 1979.
