Ground Transport Terms: Stretcher
Medstat is not under the same constraints, distance or boundary restrictions & pressures of the Ambulance Services. Stable or discharged customers, who for medical or personal reason, find air travel inappropriate can choose land travel in comfort. Computer assisted mapping aids in determining the shortest, most cost effective routes. Our vehicles are high profile and meet those standards required to qualify as an ambulance in the province of Ontario, and elsewhere.

48 hour notice required. On demand response depends on vehicle/crew availability.

Ground Transport Terms: Rendezvous
When air evacuation is arranged for a stable patient, Medstat will be at the gate waiting. No uncertainties wondering if a local ambulance is available or delayed. No additional worries if the transfer is to home, clinic or hospital.

Not all air transfers require a specially equipped air ambulance. Commercial carriers are often an economical alternative to Air Evac. Medstat can provide Medical Attendants and equipment when retrieving or escorting a stable patient. Licensed Nursing staff, EMT's & Paramedics are also available.

Layover accommodations and return must be prearranged.
